If you’re a freelance fashion designer or a small brand, you know the drill.
Copy and paste the images. Resize the columns. Rebuild the spec sheet. Update the sketch… again. Continuously jump back and forth between Illustrator and Excel until everything finally matches.
It’s repetitive, it’s annoying, and it takes you away from the creative work you actually want to be doing. The whole reason you became a designer in the first place.
We built Tech Pack Wizard so you can do all of it in one place, right where you already design.
Designers don’t need another platform to learn or another dashboard to maintain. Illustrator is already the tool you trust and where your sketches actually evolve.
Tech Pack Wizard brings the entire tech pack workflow into Illustrator so you can:
No more switching between programs or dealing with buggy templates. No guessing where something lives.
Just a single, unified workflow. And did we mention it’s all in Illustrator?
Hi, I’m Kaylyn! After creating MANY tech packs for freelance clients, I hit my breaking point.
One day I realized I was spending more time fixing spreadsheets and copy/pasting screenshots than designing any actual garments. I wanted to be designing!
I looked at the tools available for freelancers like me and couldn’t find anything that suited my workflow.
So I decided to create the very tool I wished existed:
A simple yet powerful, Illustrator-native way to build production-ready tech packs without the hassle.
Tech Pack Wizard is built from my real freelance experience, not guesswork.

Every feature, every workflow, every update is built with one goal in mind: to help designers spend more of their time designing, not wrestling with tech packs.
We’re currently finalizing development, and early testers are helping shape what’s next.
