Not All Colorways Appear on the BOM

This article explains why some colorways may be missing from the Bill of Materials (BOM) and how to fix it.

Why This Happens

Each colorway needs its own name on the Colorways page in order to appear on the BOM.

This is different from naming a swatch. The colorway itself needs a title. Without one, it won’t be recognized by the BOM.

How to Fix It

  1. Navigate to the Colorways page in the plugin.
  2. Locate the colorway that isn’t showing up on the BOM.
  3. Add a name to the colorway (not the swatch, the colorway title itself).
  4. Repeat for any other unnamed colorways.

Once all colorways have a name, they should appear correctly on the BOM.

Important Distinction

There are two different name fields on the Colorways page:

  • Swatch name: the name of an individual color swatch
  • Colorway name: the title of the colorway as a whole (e.g. “Colorway 1”, “Black/White”, “Summer Blue”)

The BOM requires the colorway name to be filled in. Naming swatches alone is not enough.

Quick Checklist

If a colorway isn’t showing up on the BOM, check:

  • Does the colorway have a name (not just a swatch name)?
  • Have all colorways been given a title on the Colorways page?
