Open the Plugin and Sign In

This guide explains how to open the Tech Pack Wizard plugin in Adobe Illustrator and sign in to your account.

Step 1: Open Adobe Illustrator

  1. Launch Adobe Illustrator.

  2. Open an existing document or create a new document.

  3. Make sure your artboards are set to portrait orientation. Each artboard acts as the boundary for its sketch. Any white space on the artboard is included when the sketch is placed onto tech pack pages. A landscape artboard with a centered sketch will result in unnecessary white space on the left and right sides of the sketch in your tech pack.

Step 2: Open the Tech Pack Wizard Panel

  1. In Illustrator, go to Window > Extensions > Tech Pack Wizard.

  2. This opens the Tech Pack Wizard panel.

The Tech Pack Wizard panel will appear in the Illustrator workspace.

Step 3: Sign In to Your Account

When you open the plugin for the first time, you will be prompted to sign in.

  1. Enter the email address and password associated with your Tech Pack Wizard account.

  2. Complete the sign-in process.

You will need to sign in again if Illustrator is restarted.

Seeing a “multiple logins detected” message? Simply click “Log out of other sessions” to continue. This can occasionally appear if the plugin was open when Adobe Illustrator was last closed.

Step 4: Save Your File (If Prompted)

If you are working in a new document, the plugin will prompt you to save your Illustrator file.

  1. Choose a file name and location.

  2. Save the file.

Saving the file ensures tech pack data can be properly stored and synced.
