Tools Overview

This guide provides an overview of the tools available in the Tech Pack Wizard panel and explains when to use each one.

Each tool has its own step-by-step guide with detailed instructions.

Symmetry Tool

Use the Symmetry Tool to create mirrored garment sketches while drawing.

 

This tool is commonly used when sketching symmetrical garment views, such as fronts or backs.

Zoom Tool

Use the Zoom Tool to create a focused Detail Sketch view by selecting, cropping, and scaling a specific area of a sketch to fit the artboard.

 

The Zoom Tool is commonly used on Detail Sketches in combination with the Spec Tool or Callouts Tool to highlight specific areas of a garment.

Spec Tool

Use the Spec Tool to add Points of Measure (POMs) and spec lines directly onto sketches.

 

The Spec Tool is typically used on Spec and Fit pages to document measurements.

Callouts Tool

Use the Callouts Tool to add annotated callouts to sketches for construction details, materials, or special notes.

 

Callouts are commonly used on Callouts pages and Detail Sketches.

Preloaded Libraries

Use the preloaded libraries to access Graphic Styles, Brushes, and Symbols for sketching and consistency.

 

These libraries help standardize visuals and speed up the sketching process.

Size Range Admin

Use the Size Range Admin to create and manage size ranges used for grading and specifications throughout the tech pack.
